Acer Drummondii

A resilient maple with a rounded form and large, variegated leaves of grey-green edged with ivory that turns blazing orange in the autumn. Hardy and healthy, ideal for any large garden. Water before planting. Dig a hole as deep as the root ball and twice as wide. Mix compost into the soil as you plant the tree. Water well and in dry weather until established. Apply an annual mulch of manure or compost around the base of the plant. Requires very little pruning. Remove diseased or crossing branches from late autumn to mid-winter.
